Mayford Heritage Pond


A total of 23 species have been observed by Adam Cheeseman whilst at the pond.  These include those that have been flying directly overhead.  Of these only 7 have actually been seen using the pond for food or water.  They are Grey Heron, Mallard, Pied Wagtail, Starling, Carrion Crow, Jay, and Magpie.  Those that have flown over include Common Buzzard, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Goldcrest, and Bullfinch.
